My story
It started with a problem I kept running into.
For years, I was doing client work, tracking hours, keeping notes, preparing invoices, and then trying to explain the whole story after the work was already done.
The work was not the frustrating part. The frustrating part was the moment before invoicing, when I had to pull everything together and make it clear for the client.
I had work logs in one place, notes in another, emails from clients, small changes, fixed-price items, and expenses. By the time I made the invoice, I was rebuilding the same story from scratch.
Too often, the invoice was the first clear summary the client saw. I wanted a calmer step before that, where the client could review the work, ask for changes, and approve it before billing.
